Company Programme Area Finals at KPMG

On the 28th March 2017, 5 members from Baggle attended the Company Programme Area Finals at KPMG offices in Watford.

At the event, we set up our trade stand similar to how we would at a Trade Fair and the judges interviewed 3 of the girls at our stall. We were asked various questions regarding the production process of the product, financial information and the quality of our product. After this, Anna, Jess, Elizabeth and Emily performed a presentation to the judges and other Young Enterprise groups and guests with Mia on ICT operating our powerpoint.

As a result, Baggle won two awards, Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Company of the Year! Consequently, this meant that we were one of the four out of 13 teams who got through to the next round of the competition! On the 25th April we will be attending the Hertfordshire County Company of the Year Final to compete for a place in the Regional Finals in Cambridge.

We have progressed a lot this year from the initial idea of bag handles to now crutches and seek to further our product and extend it to multiple uses. We look forward to the upcoming progression of our company and future opportunities that we hopefully will encounter!
